I'm a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Economics at George Mason University.  I've enjoyed studying here and exploring all that Washington D.C. and the East Coast have to offer. I earned a B.S. in Economics at San Jose State University, which is the city where I grew up and where my parents and three brothers still live.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to minor league baseball games (and pretty much any sporting event), wine tasting, smoking cigars, playing darts, bowling, and traveling (so far I've been to Mexico, China, New Zealand, London, France, Italy, and Guatemala). Recently, I have become interested in developing my cooking skills. My best dish so far is a risotto with artichokes, Romano cheese, and basil, but I'm still a much better consumer of food than producer of it.
